I f you are reading this post, you probably may be wondering about the first steps in your article submission. As you may be aware, you can do this directly from our web, just follow the instructions herewith provided and your article will be ready to be published in a matter of minutes. No special technical knowledge is required. I hope this clarifies your doubts.
Please note that in order to request for article submission, you will need to be previously approved by us. We will send you the log-in and password details individually and personally. In case you do not know how to proceed, please let us know. If you only registered in our web (direct registration as a registered user) you will not have the possibility to submit articles.
STEP 1. Loging
First log-in with the provided user name and password under the User Menu section in the bottom-left area of the Menu in the Home Page. This will bring you to the authorised users section (with access to certain features and resources)
STEP 2. User Menu
Once logged-in, your new User menu will look as follows:
Please check always "Your Details" and update any information in case there is any error.
Under "Submit an Article" you will be directed to the Edition area where you can start writing the article. There is a full description about this Edition Menu here, in case you need to explore all possibilities (inserting images, web links, etc)
STEP 3. Editor
You will have the following window.
Editor
Title: fill in your article's title.
Menu (Toggle Editor): there are basic editor buttons as standard. In case you don't see them, click in "Toggle Editor" button at the bottom of the edition box area. You will normally require basic edition provided in this Menu. You can also upload / edit images and links with the appropriate buttons. The submission is really easy in case you do not require complicated formatting. You can copy and paste with formatting. All buttons explained in detail here.
Publishing
Section: Uncategorised
Category: Uncategorised
Show on Front Page: No
Author Alias: yor name
Start Publishing: current time/date
Finish Publishing: Never
Access Level: Public
Metadata
Always add information that may be relevant to your article in the Metadata Description and Metadata Keywords. This will improve the searchability of your article, both within our site and with search engines.
Description: Use the area provided here to add a description of your article. Use a sentence.
Keywords: Add the words or sentences, separated by comma, that best describe your article.
Once your article is finished, click on the "Save" button and your article will be waiting our review.
In case you need to edit some of the content, you will be able to do it once your article is published. Otherwise you need to get in touch with us before we publish it.
Note: Please note that the default Editor has limited features. In case you require more advance edition tools, there is a possibility to select another editor. However, it is advisable you do this once you feel accustomed with certain basic features provided with the standard Editor.
