Prosecutors plan to try to establish in court that a former secretary to ruling party kingpin Ichiro Ozawa received ¥50 million in secret donations from a construction firm in 2005, according to sources.
Prosecutors had earlier planned to try to prove that another former secretary to Ozawa, Lower House member Tomohiro Ishikawa, 37, received another ¥50 million in secret donations from Mizutani Construction Co. in 2004.
