NEW YORK (Kyodo) Toyota Motor Corp.'s new car sales in the United States posted a single-digit percentage increase in the first half of 2010 following a series of recalls, a U.S. research firm said Thursday.
Overall new car sales in the U.S. market for the same period rose 16.7 percent year-on-year, with other major carmakers enjoying double-digit growth, according to Autodata Corp.
